Why We Use Carrot Oil in our Night Repair Oil

June 20, 2009 at 4:27 AM (Product Info) (, , , , , )

Carrot oil is useful for the treatment of dermatitis, eczema, psoriasis, wrinkles, and it also helps balance dry skin and can revitalise the basal layer of the skin. Carrot oil is known to help reduce age spots and soothe damage caused by over exposure to the sun. It stimulates the red blood cells, adding tone and elasticity to the skin and can reduce or prevent wrinkles. Carrot oil also assists in removing toxins and water build up in the skin, giving it a fresher firmer appearance.Carotenoids, found in carrot oil, effectively prevent and control the production of free radicals. Besides preventing the generation of free radicals, these compounds also reduce free radical reactions and restrict oxidative/free radicals-induced damage. Check out our Night Repair Oil.

Not too much conditioner!

June 1, 2009 at 11:47 PM (Skincare Tips) (, , )

Using too much conditioner can make your hair greasy and lank quickly. You only need the amount of a ten cent piece and apply to the ends of your hair first and work up. Using a comb helps distribute the conditioner evenly.

Use shampoos and conditioners that don’t build up on the hair and use a hair cleanser occassionally for a fresh, light head of hair.

A natural hair cleanser can be made using a teaspoon of apple cider vinegar in a cup of water. Pour through the hair after washing and do not rinse out.
